The 2007 Durham Regatta took place over the weekend of the 9th and 10th of June. This year was especially exciting as it is the 175th Anniversary of Durham University. The University held a Sportspersons' Ball on the evening of the 9th and hosted a public fireworks display preceded by street theatre both in the City Centre and in the Regatta Enclosure on the Racecourse.
